Event overview
The Spider Mountain Trail Race takes place in Burnet, Texas on May 16-17, 2026. The event is held at Spider Mountain Bike Park, a lift-served mountain bike facility that includes a quad chair lift. The race features night-time trail running and multiple distance options, plus ruck and youth events. The registration includes race swag; registrants who sign up by April 24 will receive a shirt, and later registrants will receive other swag items.

Format, timing and race policies
The event displays both "Gun Time" and "Chip Time" in results. Gun Time is the official time used for rankings and awards; Chip Time shows the time a runner actually spent on course and is not used for awards. Mass starts are used by distance, and the start line may remain open for later entries who will not be eligible for overall awards. The Youth Mile includes a chairlift ride to the top; a parent is required to ride the chairlift with the child and volunteers will guide children on the course.
