Sphinx AC Summer 5 - 2026
The Sphinx AC Summer 5 is an annual 5 miles road race organised and promoted by Sphinx AC. It is part of the Warwickshire Road Race League and is hosted in and around Coventry’s War Memorial Park. The event is described as offering good value, with organisation around a stretching, largely traffic free course.
This edition is sold out with 550 entries recorded and a waiting list in operation. Entry fees include a race memento and free cake for finishers. Cash prizes are available for the first three finishers and for age category winners. A mobile medical crew will be on standby throughout the event. Race headquarters are located alongside the cafe and tennis pavilion area.
The field typically includes club athletes from Coventry, Warwickshire and the greater Midlands running community. Unattached runners and newcomers are noted as welcome at Sphinx AC events. Entrants can transfer their place to another person through the event’s online entry system; transferred entries require a transfer code and acceptance by the new entrant.
