Speed Shoe Rodeo
The Speed Shoe Rodeo is a performance footwear demonstration event held at Fleet Feet Montclair. Participants have the opportunity to test and compare various race-day and high-performance running shoe models from multiple brands on a head-to-head basis during a run. The event features specialized models from Adidas, Asics, Brooks, Hoka, Nike, New Balance, and Saucony.
The event is structured as a supported long run suitable for half marathon and full marathon training. The course consists of two different loop options:
- 5 mile loop
- 7 mile loop
Both routes are marked and include course support. Aid stations provide hydration and Maurten fueling products, and cheerleaders are stationed along the course. Pacers are available to assist runners during the activity.
Following the run, recovery services are provided on-site. Physical therapists from the Kessler team are available to assist with stretching and to address any physical concerns or questions regarding aches and pains. The featured shoe lineup includes specific performance models such as the Nike Alphafly 3, Asics Metaspeed Sky, and Adidas Adizero EVO SL, among others.
