The Spectrum of Color 5K Fun Run

The Spectrum of Color 5K Fun Run is an inclusive and sensory-friendly event located in Wheeling, West Virginia. This event is untimed and focuses on participation. The course begins at the waterfront at Heritage Port and transitions onto the trail to avoid roadwork and construction.

Participants can expect a variety of interactive features along the route, including multiple color stations where bright powder is thrown, a foam station, and bubble stations. Everyone who completes the entire course is eligible to receive an award.

The event serves as a 21st-anniversary celebration for Augusta Levy and benefits the Shawn Ramsay Autism Scholarship. Before the run begins, a birthday party takes place featuring several activities:

  • Inflatables
  • Face painting
  • Balloon animals
  • Music
  • Cake

Registration is available online until one day before the event, and day-of registration is also accepted at the venue. Participants who complete their registration by early June receive a shirt, sunglasses, and an autism ambassador sticker. Those registering after this period or on the day of the event will not receive a T-shirt. On-site activities such as packet pick-up begin in the afternoon on the day of the run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
