Spectrum for Living 5K
This is a 5K run and walk in support of Spectrum for Living, which benefits adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The event is held at Overpeck Park in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey.
The course is USATF certified. Participants can run, walk, or roll, and are allowed to bring their dog if it is leashed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and well-behaved. The race begins near the amphitheater, where parking is available.
An early-bird registration fee of $35 is available through April 2, after which the price increases. Day-of registration is available for $40. Participants who register by April 2 are guaranteed an event t-shirt.
Awards and lunch follow the event. All clients of Spectrum for Living can participate for free, with specific sign-up instructions provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
