Special Olympics Kuringgai Chase Fun Run 2026
The Kuringgai Chase is a community fun run and carnival held on June 14, 2026 at Claude Cameron Grove in Wahroonga. The event offers a mix of running and walking options with both timed and non-timed categories.

- 10km fun run or walk, two laps of the 5km course
- 5km fun run or walk, one timed lap

The course runs through the leafy streets of Wahroonga and both starts and finishes at Claude Cameron Grove. The route includes a section known as Kokoda Hill and provides views over the Ku-Ring-Gai National Park. The 2km course is described as flat and aimed at a recreational experience.
The event is presented as an inclusive family occasion for individuals and teams. It is organised in collaboration with the Special Olympics Sydney Upper North Shore Club, Ku-ring-gai Council, Knox Grammar School and local supporters and sponsors. There are concession and special entry options: a child discount of A$25 is applied at checkout for children in the 10km or 5km events, and reduced A$10 entries are available for Special Olympics athlete or companion card holders.
