Special Olympics Kuringgai Chase Fun Run 2026
The Kuringgai Chase is a community fun run and carnival held on June 14, 2026 at Claude Cameron Grove, Westbrook Avenue, Wahroonga NSW, Australia. The course starts and finishes at Claude Cameron Grove and runs through the leafy streets of Wahroonga.
Event distances:
- 10 km fun run or walk (two laps of the 5 km course)
- 5 km fun run or walk (one timed lap)
- 5 km walk
- 2 km dash, a timed and mainly flat course
The route includes a climb known as Kokoda Hill and offers views over Ku Ring Gai National Park. The 2 km course is described as a flat option. The event is presented as an inclusive family event for individuals and teams and notes suitability for a range of ages and abilities.
Organisers and supporters include Special Olympics Sydney Upper North Shore Club, Ku-ring-gai Council, Knox Grammar School and local sponsors and community groups. Entry fees apply with concessions: a A$25 discount is applied at checkout for children registering in the 10 km or 5 km events. Special Olympics athletes and companions have a reduced A$10 entry option. A free Fundraise Only registration option is available for people wishing to create fundraising pages.
