About the race
The Speak & Share Fun Run is a community fundraising event on the Mornington Peninsula that follows the Bay Trail and uses the Rosebud foreshore as its base. The start and finish area is located next to the Rosebud Skate Park (corner of Nepean Hwy and Boneo Rd, Rosebud). The course runs mostly on the Bay Trail with some asphalt sections and stretches through foreshore camping grounds; signage, flags and cones will mark the safest direct route and notify the public that the event is taking place.
Distances offered:
- 21.1 km course following two out-and-back sections on the Bay Trail.
- 10 km out-and-back course along the Bay Trail.
- 5 km out-and-back course along the Bay Trail.
- 1 km kids run with one accompanying adult included per child at no extra charge.
Event services include course hydration approximately every 2.5 km, additional hydration at the finish, public taps along the route, portable toilets and public toilet blocks, and St John Ambulance stationed at the finish line and on course. Ticket inclusions listed by the organiser are Fun Run socks, medal, tote bag, race bib, course hydration and post-run refreshments. Bibs are available for collection from Mornington Park Pavilion on specified dates before the event. The event is cashless and there will be no secure storage for personal belongings. Organisers note the course, start times or format may be adjusted if conditions require. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
