2026 Manchester DEKA IGNITE

DEKA IGNITE is a team race for groups of four in male, female, or co‑ed categories. The format uses a baton passing setup in which team members share the workload and plan a strategy for each zone. Each of the ten specialised fitness zones is preceded by a 500 m run or walk, totaling 5 km of running across the course. Teams have a 90‑minute time limit to complete the entire course.
The DEKA FIT Challenge includes ten zones completed in sequence: Zone 1 60 RAM alternating reverse lunges; Zone 2 1000 m row; Zone 3 40 box jump or step overs; Zone 4 50 med ball sit‑up throws; Zone 5 1000 m ski erg; Zone 6 400 m farmer's carry; Zone 7 50 calorie air bike; Zone 8 40 dead ball wall overs; Zone 9 200 m sled push or pull; Zone 10 40 RAM burpees. Between each zone teams cover the 500 m interval.
