Manchester DEKA FIT and DEKA IGNITE - Manchester Central, July 24-25, 2026
The event takes place at Manchester Central (Manchester Convention Centre Complex, Windmill St, Manchester) and is held indoors within the venue's historic architecture and modern facilities. Ticket prices are listed per person.
DEKA IGNITE is presented as a team experience aimed at workplace and corporate groups. Teams of four compete in male, female, or mixed categories using a baton-passing format. Teams move through 10 specialised fitness zones connected by 500 m running or walking intervals. The course has a 90 minute time limit to complete all zones, and the format emphasises strategy and collaboration as teams share the workload.
The DEKA FIT Challenge is built around 10 zones of functional exercises, and every competitor completes the same sequence. Each zone is preceded by a 500 m run, which totals 5 km of running across the full course. The sequence lists exact tasks and volumes for each zone: Zone 1 - 60 RAM alternating reverse lunges; Zone 2 - 1000 m row; Zone 3 - 40 box jump or step overs; Zone 4 - 50 medicine ball sit-up throws; Zone 5 - 1000 m ski erg; Zone 6 - 400 m farmer’s carry; Zone 7 - 50 calorie air bike; Zone 8 - 40 dead ball wall overs; Zone 9 - 200 m sled push or pull; Zone 10 - 40 RAM burpees.
