Spanky's Run - 34th Annual (August 29, 2026)
The event is a set of community road races held on the Saturday of Cornfest. The program includes competitive and recreational options and finishes in front of Trinity Lutheran Church.

- Lil' Rascal Run 1/2 mile for children up to 10 years old
The main course is an out and back loop that begins on Main Street and heads south out of town to separate turnaround points for the 5K and 10K. Water stations are provided at both turnaround locations. On the return into town the route turns left onto Draper Street and then right two blocks later onto West Street before the finish in front of the church. The start out of town is escorted by the local fire department.
The Lil' Rascal Run is a short fun run for young children that starts at the Purple Park and ends at the Main Street Rec Center.
At the finish line, participants and spectators are offered homemade breads such as banana and zucchini, and beer is available. Results from previous years are published for reference. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
