Pine Line Marathon, Medford Wisconsin
The Pine Line Marathon takes place on April 18, 2026 in Medford, Wisconsin. The event uses the Pine Line Trail, a former railroad corridor surfaced mostly with crushed granite, and offers multiple race distances and formats.
Distances include:
- Marathon (26.2 miles)
- Marathon Relay
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K
- 5K
The marathon, relay and 5K are out and back courses. The half marathon and 10K are point to point; half marathon and 10K runners are transported by bus to their start locations and run back toward town. The half marathon starts on the trail north of Gunnar Road. The 10K start is on the trail by South Street near the former Potbelly Pub. Relay teams are responsible for transporting teammates to handoff points.
All races finish near Centennial Parkway, with the finish line located south of Allman Street by the baseball fields on the northern end of Centennial Parkway. Packet pickup is available at the Medford Chamber Office the week of the race, with onsite registration and packet pickup at the Medford City Park North Pavilion across from the Jaycee baseball field. The course features water stations and port a potties, professional timing, and finisher medals for half and full marathon finishers and for relay team members. Medals are also awarded to overall and age category winners. The event is not a Boston qualifier. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
