Southwest Texas College 42nd Annual Turkey Trot
The event takes place on November 21, 2026 at Southwest Texas College in Uvalde, Texas. All activities are based at the SWTX fountain area behind the Administration Building on the Uvalde campus. The course is described as flat and fast, and showers are available. Walkers are welcome.

- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 mile Run/Walk
- 1K Kids Fun Run
Registration and fees are listed with pre-registration pricing and higher prices after November 1, 2026. Fees include:
- 5K Run/Walk: $25 pre-registration, $35 after November 1
- 1-mile Run/Walk: $20 pre-registration, $25 after November 1
- Kids K Fun Run: $15 pre-registration, $20 after November 1
- T-shirt only: $15
T-shirt sizes are guaranteed to all pre-registered participants. The event is sponsored by Southwest Texas College and hosted by the SWTX Faculty Association. There are no refunds for registration fees.
Awards are given for overall male and female winners and by age group. Award details:
- 5K Overall Male/Female and age group medals
- 1 Mile Overall Male/Female and age group medals
- Kids K participant medals and Fitness Fun
