XMiles Adventure Coast Southport Half Marathon & 10k
The event is scheduled for Sunday 10th January 2027 at Adventure Coast Southport, Valhalla Venue, Esplanade, Southport PR8 1RX. Title sponsor XMiles and venue partners support the race, which uses a revised route for 2027. The event is UKA licensed and both the half marathon and 10k courses are officially measured and certified.
The course runs along the promenade and around local attractions, including Marine Lake and Kings Gardens, with a crossing of the Marine Lake Bridge and a section under the pier. The route is a loop; the half marathon comprises two laps of different lengths as stated by the organiser.
Entry fees differ by UKA affiliation and minimum ages apply: 17 years for the half marathon and 15 years for the 10k. Entries close when the event is full or on the Friday before race day at 12 noon. Included with entry are a custom finisher’s medal, feed stations on the route, electronic timing, drinks at the finish and event photographs available free to download from the official photographer.
Strict cut-off times apply for road closures; half marathon runners must reach the 11 mile marker within 2.5 hours to allow roads to re-open as scheduled. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
