Event overview
XMiles Adventure Coast Southport Half Marathon & 10k takes place in Southport, Great Britain on 4 January 2026. The event base is the Valhalla Venue on the Esplanade, PR8 1RX. The course is UKA licensed and both the half marathon and 10k distances are officially measured and certified. Timing is provided by Epic Events; Results Base manages registration.

Course and facilities
The route runs along the coast and the Promenade, passes under the pier, goes around the Marine Lake and Kings Gardens, and crosses the Marine Lake Bridge. Half marathon entrants complete the loop twice. Organizers provide feed stations on the route, electronic timing, drinks at the finish, and a custom finisher’s medal. Entry and timing rules
Entry fees differ for UKA-affiliated and non-affiliated runners. Entries close when the event is full or on the Friday before race day at 12:00 noon. Due to road closure limits, half marathon runners must reach the 11 mile marker within 2.5 hours of the start to allow roads to re-open as scheduled.
