Southern Star Brewing Co. 5K Beer Run
The Southern Star Brewing Co. 5K is scheduled for Aug. 8, 2026, in Conroe, Texas, with start and finish at Southern Star Brewing, 3525 N. Frazier St. The course runs through the Sunset Ridge neighborhood and returns to the brewery. One water stop is located at the halfway point and will be staffed by Toys for Tots Marine veterans.
The event benefits Montgomery County Toys for Tots and is listed as number 8 in the Texas 5k 6-Pack Beer Challenge. The race is walker friendly and strollers are welcome. Entry includes a custom finisher glass (souvenir pint glass), four 8-oz beer tastings, an official race performance fabric T-shirt, and chip timing. The course is described as well marked and supported; free race photos will be available online after the event.
Additional race features include on-site food trucks for purchase, opportunities for competitive awards and random-drawing prizes, and custom awards for top overall and age group finishers including masters. Packet pick up is available Friday of race week at Southern Star Brewing from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and on race day at the brewery from 6:30 to 8:00 AM.
