B52 Brewing 5K Beer Run
The event is scheduled for August 8, 2026 in Conroe, Texas, and has moved from Southern Star after that brewery announced it will close at the end of June. The race starts and finishes at B52 Brewing, located at 12470 Milroy Ln, Conroe, TX 77304, and is entry number 8 in the Texas 5K 6-Pack Beer Challenge.
The course runs through the Lake Forest Falls neighborhood and returns to the brewery. There is one water stop at the 1.5 mile point that will be manned by Toys for Tots Marine veterans. The event is walker friendly and strollers are welcome.
Race entry includes a custom finisher glass, four eight ounce tastings at the brewery, an official performance fabric T-shirt, and chip timing. Additional event services include free race photos available online after the race, food trucks on site, and a marked and supported course. Competitive awards are given to top male and female overall and masters (40 and up), along with top three male and female in standard age groups; a random drawing for souvenir awards follows the competitive award ceremony.
Packet pick up is available Friday of race week at B52 Brewing from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and on race day at B52 from 6:30 to 8:00 AM. Parking is free and plentiful; participants should follow pre-race instructions and directions from police or volunteers. The event benefits Montgomery County Toys for Tots.
