Southern Star Brewing Co 5K Beer Run
The Southern Star Brewing Co 5K is an organized running event held in Conroe, Texas. The event serves as the eighth race in the Texas 5K 6-Pack Beer Challenge. The course begins and ends at the Southern Star Brewing Company, leading participants through the Sunset Ridge neighborhood. This route features one water station at the 1.5 mile mark, which is operated by representatives from Montgomery County Toys for Tots.

The event is chip-timed and the course is open to both walkers and participants with strollers. Registered runners receive an official performance fabric T-shirt and a custom finisher glass. After completing the run, participants aged 21 and over are eligible for up to four 8-oz. beer tastings at the brewery.
Competitive awards are presented to the top male and female overall finishers and the top master winners. Custom awards are also provided for the top three male and female finishers in various age categories, ranging from 19 and under to 80 and over. Following the formal award ceremony, participants may enter a random drawing for souvenir prizes. Food trucks are available on-site for beverage and food purchases after the event.
