Course and Event Details
The event is a 6 km walk or run. The course begins and finishes at the same location near the park's restrooms. It starts with a counterclockwise loop around Olcott Park before joining the Jackson Creek Trail. Parking for the event is available at Jackson Creek Middle School.
Purpose and Charity
The event's 6 km distance represents the average daily distance women and children in the developing world walk for often contaminated water. Participation supports a World Vision Water project. Funds raised provide sustainable, clean water; for every $50 raised, clean water is provided to one person. The 2026 fundraising goal is $20,000 to help 400 individuals.
