South West Coast 50 Ultra Challenge

The South West Coast 50 Ultra Challenge is a premier 50km trail event held in Somerset and Exmoor, starting and finishing at Dunster basecamp near Dunster Castle. Scheduled for August 2, 2025, it offers 50km, 25km, and family-friendly 10km loop options. The course features the first Minehead section of the famous 630-mile Coastal Path, with challenging terrain including over 1600 meters of climb across Exmoor’s scenic ups and downs.

Participants can walk, jog, or run at their own pace, supported by well-equipped rest stops, medical teams, and GPS tracking. The event includes camping packages, festival-style hospitality, and a celebratory finish with medals and refreshments, making it suitable for all experience levels.
