South Shore Half Marathon
The 12th Annual South Shore Half Marathon takes place on November 8, 2026, and returns to Bare Cove Park in Hingham, MA. The event is a half marathon only; there is no 5K this year due to limited participation of 500.
All registrants receive a long sleeve unisex race shirt and a finisher medal. The event offers professional chip timing with results posted instantly and free finish line photos. A post race celebration will include music, light snacks and an award ceremony. Gear check is available at the registration table and items are marked with participant bib numbers.
Packet pickup details are listed as pre race TBD and race day pickup near the start line. Course map and parking information are described as coming soon.
Awards are presented as Marathon Sports gift cards. Top three overall male and female finishers receive $100, $75 and $50 gift cards. Age group winners for male and female divisions receive $25 gift cards in these groups: 1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
