South Park Half Marathon
The South Park Half Marathon is a road running event held in South Park Township, Pennsylvania. The course is a paved road route made up of two loops and starts from the museum near 1888 Brownsville Rd. The distance for the main event is 13.1 Miles.
Portable restrooms will be placed near the start and finish area and along the course. Aid stations with sports drink, water, fruit snacks, granola bars, and first aid kits will be available along the course and will be located at miles 1.2, 3,6, 6.5, 9, 11.9.
Event swag includes a finisher medal, a 100% polyester long sleeve performance shirt, a custom race bib, and age group award medals. Early packet pickup is recommended: Friday, March 6th from 11:00am to 7:00pm at Raising Cane's - 410 Clairton Blvd, Pleasant Hills, PA 15236. Race day packet pickup is available Saturday, March 7th from 7:45am to 8:45am at 1888 Brownsville Rd., South Park Township, PA 15129.
Awards are given to the Top 3 Overall Male and Female Open & Masters finishers and to the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Awards are based on gun time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
