The 12K route has been modified because of construction on Five Mile Drive within Point Defiance Park. The revised course includes additional distance and a hill climb coming out of Owen Beach. Packet pick up is available on Thursday, June 11 at Cheney Stadium from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and a packet pick up tent opens at 6:30 AM on race day at Vassault Park.
The event relies on more than 400 volunteers. Volunteer roles cover many areas of course and event support, and some positions offer free race registration for participants who choose to run or walk. Race materials include information on routes, fees, frequently asked questions, results, and photos. Vendor and sponsorship opportunities are part of the event organization.
