Soulstice Mountain Trail Run
The Soulstice Mountain Trail Run is the 27th running of the Jackie Weintraub Memorial trail event, scheduled for October 10, 2026 in Government Prairie, Kaibab National Forest near Parks, Arizona. The date may move to October 11 if weather on race day is severe. The event is organized by volunteers from the Northern Arizona Trail Runners Association and features support from local nonprofit groups, with 100% of race proceeds benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff.
Available distances include:
- 30K
- 18K (about 11.2 miles)
- 10K (about 6 miles)
- 1K kids dash
Early-start options are offered for the 10K and 18K. Registration opens December 31, 2025. An early-bird fee of $70 applies through January 7, 2026; afterward the fee for the 10K, 18K, and 30K increases to $80. The kids dash has a separate fee of $10. The event limits participation to the Forest Service permit cap of 200 runners; if registrations exceed that cap by April 30, a lottery will be used and legacy runners registered before April 30 are guaranteed entry. Runners can also secure entry before April 15 by donating an Arizona Charitable Tax Credit to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff. For safety reasons, dogs are not allowed on the race course.
