Soulstice Mountain Trail Run
The Soulstice Mountain Trail Run takes place at Government Prairie in Kaibab National Forest near Parks, Arizona on October 10, 2026, with a possible postponement to October 11 if weather is severe. The 27th running is organized by volunteers from the Northern Arizona Trail Runners Association, including an unpaid race director, and 100% of race proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff.
Distances offered include:
- 30K trail race
- 18K race listed near 11 miles
- 10K race listed near 6 miles
- 1K kids dash
Early-bird registration opens on New Year’s Eve 2025 with an early-bird fee of $70 for any distance through January 7; later entry fees for the 10K, 18K, and 30K increase to $80. There is a permit limit of 200 runners; if entries exceed that by April 30, a lottery may be implemented. Legacy runners registered before April 30 are guaranteed entry. Runners may guarantee entry before April 15 by donating an Arizona Charitable Tax Credit to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff. For 2026 the event was listed as sold out on August 12, with a waiting list available.
Participants and volunteers from the Luke5Adventures Flagstaff chapter will be featured at the 2026 event. Dogs are not allowed on the race course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
