About the race
Soulstice Mountain Trail Run is the 27th running on October 10, 2026 (or October 11 if weather is severe) at Government Prairie in Kaibab National Forest, Parks, AZ 86018, USA. The event is organized by volunteers from the Northern Arizona Trail Runners Association (NATRA LLC) and features participants and volunteers from the Luke5Adventures Flagstaff chapter. One hundred percent of race proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff.
Distances offered include:
- 30K
- 18K (about 11.2 miles)
- 10K (about 6 miles)
- 1K Kids Dash at Li'l Pup Ranch
Early bird registration opens December 31, 2025 at 20:00 and is priced at $70 through January 7. After that date the fee is $80 for the 10K, 18K, and 30K distances. Registration deadlines for most races are listed as January 8, 2026 01:59; the Kids Dash registration remains open through race day with a different close time. The event notes that if entries exceed the Forest Service permit limit of 200 by April 30, a lottery will be implemented; legacy runners registered before April 30 are guaranteed entry. It is also possible to guarantee entry before April 15 by donating an Arizona Charitable Tax Credit to Big Brothers Big Sisters. For safety reasons, dogs are not allowed on the race course. As of August 12, 2026 the event is listed as sold out and a waiting list is open. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
