Soulstice Mountain Trail Run : October 10, 2026
The Soulstice Mountain Trail Run is the 27th running of the Jackie Weintraub Memorial Trail Run in Government Prairie, Kaibab National Forest near Parks, Arizona. The event is organized by volunteers from the Northern Arizona Trail Runners Association (NATRA LLC) and directed by an unpaid race director. One hundred percent of race proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff.
The program includes multiple distance options and a children's race:
- Soulstice 30K
- Soulstice 18K
- Soulstice 10K
- Early-start options for the 18K and 10K
- Soulstice Kids Dash
Registration details noted by the organizer: an early-bird window offers a reduced fee through early January, after which standard fees apply; the regular fee listed for the adult distances is $80 and the kids dash is $10. The field is limited by a 200-runner Forest Service permit; if entries exceed that limit by April 30th a lottery will be used to determine the final field. Legacy runners with at least seven Soulstice finishes who register before April 30th are guaranteed entry. Entry can also be guaranteed before April 15th through designated Arizona charitable tax credit donations to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff.
A registration package includes a dye-sublimated Sweatvac performance shirt, race poster, post-race food and live music, and free downloadable high-resolution photos. Course maps for the 30K, 18K, and 10K are available on Strava. The venue highlights the historic Beale Wagon Road and post-race gatherings at Langner Ranch and the Pay-N-Take.
