About the race
Organized by Effingham Health System Foundation, the Soul to Sole Breast Cancer Awareness Walk & 5K takes place on 10/17/2026 at Guyton Elementary School, 719 Central Blvd, Guyton, GA 31312.
The event includes a 3.1 miles walk/5K course. It will recognize surviving breast cancer warriors and pay tribute to those who have died from breast cancer.
Participants receive a race t-shirt, professional race timing and a finisher medal. A cancer resource fair called "Cancer Self Care" will be held in the gymnasium to share information about local resources.
Pre-registration is offered online. Published registration fees are: individual $35 and team (maximum 6 members) $180 for pre-registration, and individual $45 and team $190 for race day registration. Registration opens on 2026-07-21 and closes on 2026-10-14.
Race packets and bibs can be picked up prior to the event at the HR Complex on the Effingham Health System campus. Event amenities include on-site vendors such as the Paddles Coffee Truck. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
