Soul Food Festival 5K
The Soul Food Festival 5K is presented by the 100 Black Men of St. Mary Parish and is scheduled in June in Historic Downtown Franklin, Louisiana. The festival program includes live music, soul food booths, a Health Village, and a Juneteenth exhibit alongside the running events.
The running component comprises a 5K race (3.1 Miles) and a free Kids Marathon Challenge, a 1 mile kids marathon. Packet pickup is located on the bayou side at the starting line. The 5K carries a registration fee of $30.00.
Awards for the 5K are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Proceeds from the race benefit the 100 Black Men Scholarship Fund. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
