Sonder & Friends Oktoberfest 5K
Sonder & Friends Oktoberfest 5K is a charity event held at Sonder Brewing in Mason, Ohio on September 25, 2027. The event benefits Greater Project, a Cincinnati based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports orphaned and vulnerable children locally and abroad.
The event combines a timed community run/walk with a festival that includes ten local breweries, German beers, festive food, kids activities, live music and an all day festival atmosphere. Participants receive a beer ticket or root beer and a finisher medal.
Race and event features include medals for all finishers, awards for the top three male and female finishers, and prizes for the largest team plus best individual and team Oktoberfest costumes. Strollers are permitted and well behaved dogs are allowed on leash. Packet pickup is offered at Sonder Brewing in the days before the event and in person registration is available on the day of the event before the race.
Multiple entry options and fees are listed for registration, including an event specifically for children with short dash distances and a separate Sip & Support option. Organizers note volunteer and sponsorship opportunities and that Greater Project is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
