Sonder & Friends Oktoberfest 5K takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Sonder Brewing, 8584 Duke Blvd, Mason, OH 45040. The event program includes a 5K Run/Walk, a Sip & Support option, and a Kids Root Beer Fun Run. Entry fees shown are $25 for the 5K, $25 for Sip & Support, and $10 for the Kids Run. Registration opens January 7, 2026 at 2:37pm EST. The Kids Root Beer Fun Run is open to ages 1 to 10 and shows 120 spots remaining.
Features and logistics
The event is held with an all-day Oktoberfest festival featuring seven local breweries serving German-style beers, festive food, kids activities, and live music. Race participants receive a free beer ticket or root beer and a finisher medal. All finishers receive medals; awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers. Prizes are offered for the largest team and for best individual and team Oktoberfest costumes. Strollers are welcome, and well behaved dogs are allowed on leash. Packet pick up is listed for Friday, September 25 (3:00–7:00pm) and Saturday, September 26 (9:00–9:30am) at Sonder Brewing. The Kids Root Beer Run uses short dashes by age group: 10 yard for ages 3 and under (parents may run alongside), and 50 yard for ages 4–10.
