Some Gave ALL 5K
The Some Gave ALL 5K is scheduled for Sunday, September 20, 2026, in Newark, DE at Olan Thomas Park (89 Paper Mill Road, Newark, DE 19711). The event honors an American service member who also served as a firefighter and was killed while serving in Afghanistan. All event proceeds will be donated to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and the Global War on Terrorism Memorial Foundation. Registration opens February 17, 2026 at 4:29 pm EST and the listed entry fee is $25.
Race details and logistics
Participants receive a race T-shirt or a women's tank top, post race snacks and drinks, and access to a post race celebration at Timothy's with food, drinks and music. Parking is provided in the lot behind Timothy's of Newark; the GPS address for that lot is 100 Creek View Rd, Newark, DE 19711, and attendees walk from there to Olan Thomas Park. Awards include overall male and female, overall masters male and female, and top three finishers in each age group (male and female) with medals. Age groups are 9 & under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Overall and masters awards are based on gun time; age-group awards are based on chip time.
