Solsberry Hornet 5K
The Solsberry Hornet 5K is an out and back 5k course in Solsberry, Indiana that passes through the intersection of downtown Solsberry and finishes with a notable hill. The event day includes both a run entry and a walk only entry; walking is allowed in the run entry if needed.
Registration opens on April 20 and closes on July 9. A registration fee of $25.00 applies. Day of registration and check in occur inside the Solsberry Community Church. A no shirt option reduces the fee by five dollars at checkout. Commemorative shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by Thursday July 10 at midnight; participants are asked to enter their shirt size during registration.
All proceeds support the boys and girls cross country and track and field teams at Eastern Greene Schools. Awards will be given to the top overall male and top overall female run finishers, to the top two overall male and top two overall female walkers, and to the top finishers in the runner age groups 0-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-59, and 60 plus.
