The Solidarity Sidekick down Route 66 Stop 7 in Pontiac is a community run/walk built around a 6.6K course along Route 66. The event is part of a multi-stop series that follows Route 66 across Illinois and contributes cumulative mileage for supporters across the state.
Each in-person stop includes a shared Sidekick segment where participants join a solo runner who is completing the Illinois stretch of Route 66; the shared segment is about 2.1 miles.
