This event is part of an expanded series of 18 runs that follow the Illinois portion of Route 66. The series raises funds and awareness for ALS and honors Enric’s solo run along Route 66. The series is split into two halves of nine stops each. Completing all nine stops in a half earns a finisher medal and a shirt for that half. Completing all 18 stops earns three medals and three shirts. Shirts are optional and must be purchased during registration; shirts are not included with the base entry fee.
The event package for Stop 2 includes a custom Stop 2 McCook bib, a Solidarity Sidekick collectible badge for Stop 2, a post-run celebration with the Spirits Run community, and credit toward Part 1, Part 2, or full-series rewards.
