Solidarity Sidekick down Route 66 Stop 2 McCook
The event titled Stop 2 McCook takes place on 08/30/2026 at 8436 Joliet Road, La Grange, IL 60525. It is one stop in an 18 event series along the Illinois stretch of Route 66 that raises funds and awareness for ALS and honors Enric’s solo run down Route 66.
The series is organized into two halves of nine stops each. Completing Part 1 (Stops 1–9) earns a Part 1 medal and a Part 1 shirt. Completing Part 2 (Stops 10–18) earns a Part 2 medal and a Part 2 shirt. Participants who complete all 18 stops earn three medals and three shirts. These full series rewards are reserved for participants who register for the full halves or the entire series.
Registration details for this stop list an entry fee of $40.00 and a registration period from 15 May 2026 to 15 June 2026. Event shirts are optional and must be purchased during registration; shirts are not included with the base entry fee.
The published event inclusions are a custom Stop 2 bib, a Solidarity Sidekick collectible badge for Stop 2, a professionally marked and timed course, and a post run celebration with the Spirits Run community.
