Event Details
This is the 4th annual Soles4Vets Memorial 5k run/walk/roll. It takes place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Granger Meadows Park in Lansing, Michigan.
Course & Timing
The event covers a 5k distance on a 100% paved path. The course is an out-and-back route. Professional timing is provided by the Michigan Running Foundation, with live results posted on the event website.
Registration & Inclusions
Entry pricing is $35 until May 1, 2026, and $45 from May 2 until race day. Registration by May 1 guarantees a participant t-shirt and finisher's medal; after that date, t-shirts are available only while supplies last. The t-shirt size range is from Adult Small to XXX-Large.
Awards & Beneficiary
Plaques are awarded to the overall male and female winners, as well as to winners in multiple age categories. These include youth (8-12 years), teen (13-18 years), and senior categories (50-59, 60-69, and 70+ years). The event raises funds for the Soles4Vets Program, which supports homeless and in-need veterans across the Great Lakes States, and honors veterans who have passed away.
Additional Information
Early packet pickup is available on Friday, May 15, from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM at a specified office location in Lansing. Race-day packet pickup starts at 9:00 AM at the event location. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
