Soles4Vets Memorial 5k Race/Walk
The Soles4Vets Memorial 5k Race/Walk is an annual event held in Lansing, Michigan. The fourth edition of this race takes place at Granger Meadows Park. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Soles4Vets Program, which supports veterans who are homeless or in need throughout the Great Lakes States. It is organized to honor those who have served and are no longer present.

- 5 km run, walk, or roll
The course consists of a 3.1 mile out-and-back route moving entirely along a paved path within the park. The race is open to participants of all abilities. Professional timing services are provided by the Michigan Running Foundation, with results posted live during the event.
Participants who register by May 1st are guaranteed a t-shirt and a finisher medal. T-shirts are available in sizes Adult Small through XXX-Large, though availability is limited for those who register after the early deadline.
Awards include plaques for the overall male and female winners. Age group awards are also presented across several categories, including youth (8-12), teens (13-18), and several senior divisions ranging from age 50 to 70 and up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
