Event details
The Solent Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 8th March. The 2026 event has moved to springtime and marks the 40th anniversary of the race. The event is organised by local club Hardley Runners. Entry is by pre-entry only and online entry closes on 7th March.
Course and charities
The course runs through the New Forest around Exbury and along the Solent shore at Lepe. Profits from the race will be donated to charity; this year the chosen charities are Oakhaven Hospice and Huntingdon's Disease Association.
Entries and fees
The event accepts up to 500 entries; the listing shows 288 entries recorded at the time of the notice. Entry fees vary by registration period: £25 for August to October, £27 for November to December, and £29 from January onwards. A £2 discount applies for EA affiliated runners. The organiser permits entry transfers through the event entry system with a transfer code process. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
