Solent Half Marathon : event details
The Solent Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday 8th March. The event is a half marathon that follows a course through the New Forest around Exbury and along the Solent shore at Lepe. The race is organised by the local club Hardley Runners. Profits from the event are donated to charity; this year the beneficiaries are Oakhaven Hospice and Huntingdon's Disease Association. The organiser notes that the 2026 event has moved to spring and will mark the race's 40th anniversary.
Entries, fees and transfers
Entry is by pre-entry only and closes on 7th March or when the field sells out. The race has a capacity of up to 500 entries; the entry count listed is 226 of 500. Entry fees vary by booking period: August–October £25, November–December £27, January onwards £29. EA-affiliated runners receive a £2 discount off listed fees.
Entries are managed through the Racesignup system and places can be transferred to another person via the system. When a transfer is made, the receiving person is sent a transfer code and must use or create a Racesignup account to accept the transferred place.
