Solent Half Marathon : event overview
The Solent Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday 8th March. The event is a half marathon and takes place on a course that winds through the New Forest around Exbury and along the Solent shore at Lepe. The 2026 running has been moved to spring and marks the race's 40th anniversary. The race is organised by the local club Hardley Runners. Profits from the event will be donated to Oakhaven Hospice and the Huntington's Disease Association. Entry is by pre-entry only and places are limited to 500 entrants.
Entries, fees and transfers
Entries close on 7th March or earlier if the event sells out. The page showed 452 of 500 places entered at the time of listing. Entry fees vary by booking period: August to October £25, November to December £27, and January onwards £29. EA affiliated runners receive a £2 discount off the listed fees. Entries can be transferred to another person through the Racesignup system; the transfer process uses a transfer code that the new entrant redeems when signing up.
