Sole to Soul 5K and Kid's 1K (18th Annual)
Sole to Soul is scheduled in Perrysburg, Ohio on 08/05/2026 as the 18th annual edition and as the 2026 RRCA Ohio State 5K Championship. The event program includes a 5K race and a Kid's 1K race.
The 5K is timed using disposable bib chips with timing mats at both the start and finish lines. The Kid's 1K is chip timed as well. Finisher medals are awarded for both the 5K and the Kid's 1K. Prize gift certificates are awarded to the top ten overall male and female finishers (1st $100; 2nd $75; 3rd $50; 4th $50; 5th $25; 6th $25; 7th $25; 8th $25; 9th $25; 10th $25). Overall masters (age 40 and up) male and female win $50 gift certificates; overall grand masters (age 50 and up) male and female win $25 gift certificates. There is no duplication of awards.
The course is described as flat and fast and course records are maintained. In recent years more than 25 runners each year ran faster than 20 minutes in each of the last six years, and in four of the last six years the winner finished under 15 minutes. The event offers a discounted pre registered entry fee for runners age 18 and under who are in high school or elementary school cross country. Early packet pick up is available at the store during business hours starting the day before the race and continuing through race night.
