Soldier Field 10 Memorial Day Run
The Soldier Field 10 takes place in Chicago to honor service members as part of a Memorial Day tradition. The 2026 event marks the 22nd year of the race. The event begins with a military salute and the playing of taps to set a reflective tone before participants head out onto the course.
Participants can choose from two different distances:
- 10 Miles
- 10K
The route leads runners through the streets of Chicago, offering views of the city skyline and Lake Michigan. A unique feature of the course is the finish line, which is located on the 50-yard line inside the historic Soldier Field stadium.
Registration for the event includes several items and services. Every participant receives a finisher medal and a runner's kit that includes a newly designed jersey. The event also provides free race photos to all runners. After the race, a post-race tailgate is held in the Stadium Green area. This celebration includes live music, games, and various family-oriented activities. Participants aged 21 and over are also eligible for one complimentary beer during the festivities.
There are opportunities for group participation, volunteering, and charity involvement. Training programs and on-site lodging options are also associated with the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
