Solar 5k/15k, Boston PA
The Solar 5k/15k is a community running event held on August 9, 2026 at 1902 Donner St, Boston, PA. The event is organized by Team Brunazzi Events and is sanctioned by USATF. Registration opens December 21, 2025 and closes January 1, 2026. The listed registration fee is $20.00.

The course is a flat rails to trails route on crushed limestone. Water stops are located at mile 1.55 at the 5 km turnaround and mile 4.66 at the 15 km turnaround. Proceeds support Elizabeth Forward Meals on Wheels. Participants are asked not to use headphones and pets are not permitted.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall, masters men and women, and the top three in each age group: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 plus. There is a team competition for the 5 km for coed teams with a minimum of three runners representing local community organizations.
The event has a zero refund policy. Entries and distance transfers are permitted before the race; changes are not allowed after the race has started and additional fees may apply. Preregistered runners who sign up by the shirt order date are guaranteed shirts; extra shirts are limited and will not be mailed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
