About the race
The Sofia Marathon is a multi-day running event held in the Bulgarian capital. The race has been awarded the World Athletics Road Race Label, signifying its status within the international running community. Participants can choose from five distinct race options:
- 42.195 km ASICS Marathon
- 21.098 km Address Run (Half Marathon)
- 2 x 21 km HONOR Together Relay Run
- 10.5 km Garmin Run
- 5 km FIB Mass Run
The event includes a Running Expo that takes place in the days leading up to the main competitions. Along the course, refreshment stations are provided for the athletes, and there is a dedicated cheering zone near the final meters of the finish line.
