SoCal's Tiki Beach 5K & 10K Run/Walk
SoCal's Tiki Beach Run/Walk is scheduled for 09/27/2026 at Bolsa Chica State Park (Lot #25) in Huntington Beach, California. The event offers multiple distances and a beachside expo with Polynesian drummers and dancers.

- 5K (3.11 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- Kid's Dash (400 yards) and 1-mile Fun Run
The course is a flat, scenic out-and-back along the paved beach path with ocean views. Timing is handled with RFID chip timing. Awards include top three male and female overall in both the 5K and 10K, age-group awards in five-year divisions up to 80+, and special recognition for participants who complete three or more Caren Ware Events in the year.
Every participant receives a custom Polynesian-style race shirt and a Tiki finisher medal; the Kid's Dash and 1-mile Fun Run include a T-shirt and finisher medal. There is an option to select a custom beach towel or purchase both items for an additional fee.
Amenities listed for the event include an expo, island-inspired food offerings (coconut pancakes, specialty coffee, street tacos, cookies, pineapple soft serve, fresh fruit, and whole coconuts), restroom facilities at each end of Lot 25, and vendor presence. Strollers are allowed with right-side use and at the user's risk; only registered participants wearing a visible bib receive finisher medals.
