SoCal's Cinco De Miles 5K and 5 MILE takes place on May 2, 2026 at Bolsa Chica State Beach in Huntington Beach, California. The event offers multiple distances and family-friendly options.

The event includes live mariachi, folclórico dancing, and festive food on site. Every participant receives a custom cast medal and a themed race shirt; the event features a new shirt and medal design each year. RFID chip timing is provided by Itz About Time and age division awards are offered in five-year spans, plus overall trophies and awards for oldest and youngest finishers.
Logistics note that shirts are given with bibs at registration and medals are handed out at the finish. Packet pick-up is available the day before the race with time and location to be announced, and race day pickup is available at the site. The 5-mile course runs the length of the state park as an out-and-back; a 5K course map is provided. Parking is via the main gate at 17851 Pacific Coast Hwy with a park fee required or a park pass; limited free and hourly parking is available nearby. Pets must be leashed (five feet or less) and strollers are allowed at participants own risk. Restrooms are in public buildings at the ends of the parking lots. The event proceeds rain or shine.
