Event overview
SoCal's Cinco De Miles 5K and 5 MILE is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Bolsa Chica State Beach in Huntington Beach, CA. The event programme includes multiple races and family activities, live mariachi music, folklórico dance performances, and on-site food vendors. Every finisher receives a custom cast medal and an event race shirt. RFID chip timing is provided by Itz About Time. Age-division awards are given in 5-year spans, with top overall trophies for males and females and awards for oldest and youngest finishers.

Logistics and rules
The race location is Bolsa Chica State Beach (lot 25). Early packet pick-up is available on Friday, May 1 (time and location to be determined); bibs and shirts may also be picked up on race day and may be picked up for others. Participants must wear their bibs on the front and visible to volunteers. Pets are allowed on a leash of 5 ft or less and must be accompanied by a run/walk participant. Strollers are permitted at the user’s risk; both pets and strollers should start toward the back and keep to the side on the course. Parking: enter at 17851 Pacific Coast Hwy and expect a $15 cash gate fee per car or use a park pass; limited alternative parking is available nearby. The race proceeds rain or shine.
