Event Overview
The Soar with the Eagles 5K & 1 Mile Eagle Dash is a multi-distance running event held at Gallup Park in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Participants can choose from three distinct entry options:
- 1 Mile Eagle Dash
- 3.1 Miles (5K) Soar with the Eagles
- The Double Wing Challenge (both 1 mile and 5K)
The event is timed professionally by A2 Race Management using chip timing technology. Packet pickup and bib distribution take place at the FAST Shelter near the Gallup Park Playground. Parking is accessible in the vicinity of the park. Participants who register by the early deadline receive a race t-shirt as part of their entry.
Awards and Recognition
The event recognizes top performers in both the 5K and the 1 Mile distances. In the 5K, awards are presented to the overall male and female champions, as well as the top two finishers in age categories ranging from 8 and under to 70 and over.
The 1 Mile Eagle Dash also awards the overall male and female winners, along with the top two male and female finishers in age groups including 5 and under, 6-8, 9-12, 13-16, and 17 and over.
