Event overview

Yr Wyddfa | Snowdon24 is a 24-hour UTMB-indexed ultra trail running challenge held in Llanberis, Eryri (Snowdonia). The event takes place on 11 July 2026 and is based at the foot of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), which the organiser lists at 1,085 m (3,560 feet). Competitors aim to ascend and descend the mountain as many times as possible within 24 hours. The event offers solo and team entry options, with teams of up to five taking part in a relay format.

Event facilities and support include an event village with toilets, food, shopping, music and daytime commentary, rest areas with a silent respite area and tent pitches, on-course marshals, signage and Mountain Leader support, and chip timing with tracking and online results. The event is bilingual, with signs, registration and commentary available in English and Welsh. The official charity partner is Cancer Research Wales; fundraisers for other charities are also welcome. The organiser states there is no minimum fundraising amount for general fundraising, that anyone raising more than £50 will receive a free shirt from the charity, and that a free charity place is available with a minimum sponsorship commitment of £500.
