Black Diamond Yr Wyddfa | Snowdon24 2026

This 24-hour endurance challenge takes place on Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) in Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. Yr Wyddfa is the highest mountain in England and Wales, with a summit at 1,085 metres.

The event challenges participants to complete as many ascents and descents of the mountain as possible within the time limit. It starts and finishes at Y Ganolfan in Llanberis. Participants can enter as solo runners or as part of a relay team of up to five people.

For solo participants, the event is UTMB-indexed and offers categories for distances over 50k, 100k, and 100 miles. The current solo record is 8 full ascents.
