Event overview
Yr Wyddfa | Snowdon24 is a 24-hour ultra trail running challenge held in Eryri (Snowdonia). The event takes place at Y Ganolfan, Llanberis, UK, on 11–12 July 2026. Participants run from the foot of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), which has a summit elevation of 1,085 m (3,560 feet), and aim to ascend and descend the mountain as many times as possible within 24 hours. The event is UTMB-indexed. The current solo record is eight full ascents. The official charity partner is Cancer Research Wales; fundraisers for other charities are also welcome.
Format and support
The event offers solo and team entries. Teams may include up to five people and use a relay format, with each team member contributing laps. Race services listed for participants include an event village with toilets and food, rest areas and tent pitches, on-course marshals and Mountain Leader support, chip timing with tracking and online results, and finisher mementos.
