Snapping Turtle Adventure Triathlon
The Snapping Turtle Adventure Triathlon takes place in Iola, Wisconsin with a listed location of 300 N. Main St. The event accepts individual entrants and 3 person relay teams. It is a self supported format; participants must supply their own boat, bike, and transport.
The event combines trail running, gravel or hybrid cycling, and paddling across local club trails and roads. The course is presented as three distinct legs:
- 2 mile trail run at Iola Winter Sports Club
- 7 mile gravel or hybrid bike ride to Iola Mills
- 2 mile paddle
Registration opens May 2, 2026. Entry fees are $50 for individuals and $150 for 3 person relay teams. Race registration includes a t shirt, a gelato or beer token, and entrance to the post race party. The organizer notes that the event is self supported and that participants are responsible for bringing their own equipment and arranging transport.
