Snack Town RunFest 2026
The Snack Town Runfest takes place in Hanover, Pennsylvania, on Grand Valley Road. The 2026 edition introduces several chip-timed race options for different age groups and ability levels. Participants can choose between the following distances:
- 13.1 miles (Half Marathon)
- 3.1 miles (5K)
- 1 mile (Kids Fun Run for ages 4-12)
The Half Marathon and 5K events feature a new course layout for this year. For the Half Marathon, age divisions range from 19 and under to 70 and over. The 5K includes divisions from 14 and under up to 80 and over. First, second, and third-place finishers in each age category receive awards.
All participants in the 3.1-mile and 13.1-mile races receive a finisher medal and entrance tickets for participants aged 21 and over to a post-race event designated as the Beer Bash on George. Participants who register by September 11, 2026, are provided with race shirts; the Half Marathon offers long-sleeved shirts, while the 5K offers short-sleeved versions.
The Kids Fun Run is held on a paved walking and running path located on the Hanover YMCA property. This event includes a pre-race stretch and provides short-sleeved shirts for those registered by the September deadline.
