SMOC Fall Two Day - Day 1 - Highland Rec
SMOC Fall Two Day - Day 1 combines a club race and training session focused on orienteering. The event takes place on November 7th 2026 and is part of the SMOC Fall Two Day Races and Training series.
The main race is a 60 minute score orienteering course held on the Spring Mill portion of Highland. After the score course, participants relocate to the Haven Hill portion for organized bonus training exercises. The format mixes timed navigation with targeted practice opportunities in a park setting.
Orienteering involves reading a detailed map and using a compass to find checkpoints. The event description identifies both competitive and training elements on distinct map areas, with the Spring Mill area used for the timed score course and the Haven Hill area used for the additional exercises.
