Smithfield Holiday Turkey Trot
The Smithfield Holiday Turkey Trot is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 21, 2026, at the Smithfield Recreation Center. Registration is open from Sept. 14 through Nov. 21. Packet pick up is offered Nov. 19 and 20 at the Smithfield Recreation Center.
Distances offered:
- 5K and 10K
- 1 Mile
All routes are chip timed. The event includes a stroller division available on all routes, raffle prizes, age division and overall awards, long sleeve shirts, swag bags, and recovery food. The 10K has a cutoff time of 1.5 hours.
Registration fees vary by date. From Sept. 14 to Nov. 1 the 5K and 10K are listed at $25 with a shirt and $15 without; the 1 Mile is $20 with a shirt and $10 without. Family registration for up to four shirts is $85 for immediate family members living at the same address; family registrations are accepted in person at the recreation center only and must be completed before Nov. 1. From Nov. 2 to Nov. 20 fees increase; limited shirts are available after Nov. 2. Day of registration on Nov. 21 has higher fees for each distance.
