Event Overview
The Smith Mountain Lake Ultra Triathlon is a multi-event endurance competition held at Smith Mountain Lake State Park in Huddleston, Virginia. Logistics and Amenities
The transition area serves as a central hub for the weekend, containing the timing mat, a charging station, a bike mechanic area, and the finish line. Every athlete is provided with a dedicated space that they can set up according to their needs. Tents are available for rent, and those who rent one are also provided with a table and two chairs.
Meals are served in a dedicated nutrition area within the transition zone. The event weekend includes an athlete briefing and a pre-race dinner to introduce participants, crew members, and staff.
