About the race

SMC Road Race Series runs across a season from 27 September 2026 to 23 May 2027 at Long St Park opposite 61 Long St, Smithfield NSW 2164. The series is organised by a non-profit running club and operated entirely by volunteers.

Events use electronic timing; all entrants receive bibs and timing chips and finishers are issued an official time. Each race day includes on-course and post-race provisions such as water, soft drinks, electrolytes and snacks, and there are lucky door raffle prizes for participants.

Additional long-run events of 30 km are scheduled for Race 6 and Race 7 during the season. Entry options include single-race entries and multiple-race packages for various distances and age categories. A club membership offer is listed with a fee of A$25.
