Smalley 5 Bells

Smalley 5 Bells is a licensed, fully marshalled, timed trail race organised by Smalley Road Runners. The main event is limited to 500 participants and takes place around the villages and parkland of Smalley, Mapperley and Shipley Country Park.

The course is multi terrain and includes scenic woodland, bridleways and rural paths. Water stations are provided at Mapperley Reservoir and at the finish. Every finisher receives a race t shirt and a medal. T shirt sizes are guaranteed for entries made by 17 May; sizes after that date will be allocated where possible.

The event village includes food vendors, an ice cream van, a sports therapist, a Woodland Trust presence, inflatables for children, toilets, first aid and a bag drop. Prizes are awarded for first, second and third male and female finishers, plus spot prizes and a team trophy. A designated parking field will be available on Bell Lane which will operate a one way system for the duration of the event.

The event also hosts a colourful fun run around the event field that includes colour stations and a finisher medal. Online registration details for the fun run are published by the organisers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
