Sligo Coast to Coast 10 Mile
The Sligo Coast to Coast 10 mile is an annual point to point run and walk scheduled for 27 September 2026. The permit for the event is approved, cert.no: 26/352. The event is managed by Sligo AC and operated on a not for profit basis, with beneficiaries including Sligo Athletic Club and a partnership with Sligo Cancer Support Group. Call of the Wild is the title sponsor for the year.
The course begins at the roundabout near Sligo Rugby Club in Strandhill and finishes on the Prom in Rosses Point. The route follows coastal sections of the Wild Atlantic Way and passes views of Knocknarea, Coney Island and Benbulben. The course is described as flat with very little incline.

There are three water stations along the route and an additional station at the finish. Medals will be awarded to all finishers. Tec tops are available as an optional purchase until 26 August. Number collection and new entry arrangements are scheduled for the weekend before and the morning of the event, with new entries accepted on the Saturday evening only. A bag drop is provided at Sligo Rugby Club and bags will be transported to the finish on the Prom. Participants are encouraged to carpool or use public transport; Bus Eireann S2 serves Rosses Point.
