Skyline Donut Dash
The Skyline Donut Dash is an annual community event held at Skyline High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The event includes two primary running options, with all proceeds directly supporting the Skyline High School Athletics program. The 5K Run/Walk welcomes the general public as well as students and staff, while the 1 Mile Fun Run is specifically designed for participants aged 12 and under.
- 5K Run/Walk: A route that winds through the high school campus and surrounding neighborhoods.
- 1 Mile Fun Run: A track-based run for children aged 12 and under.
The 5K course accommodates both runners and walkers and permits the use of strollers, though participants are advised of changes in elevation along the route. For the 1 Mile Fun Run, participants are paced by members of the Skyline Cross Country team. Check-in and parking are located at the school facility, with registration requiring completion prior to race day as no day-of registration is available.
Participants in the 5K compete for unique donut-themed trophies awarded to top finishers, while all children in the Fun Run receive a medal. After the events, fresh donuts from Washtenaw Dairy are provided at the finish line, and a coffee truck is available on-site. Participants who register by late September have the option to purchase an official race t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
