Skunk Cabbage Classic 10K & Half Marathon

The Skunk Cabbage Classic takes place on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Barton Hall, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY 14853. This is the 43rd running of the event. Two race distances are offered:

Half marathon

Registration prices listed on the organizer page are $30 for the 10K and $40 for the half marathon. Prices increase after December 31, 2025 at 11:59pm EST.

Course, support and race-day details

Both courses are out-and-back routes that pass through the Cornell campus, along a paved rail trail, and into the Ellis Hollow countryside. Course maps are provided by the organizers. The 10K course includes two water stops and one porta-john stop. The half-marathon course includes five water stops and two porta-john stops. Pre- and post-race activities are scheduled to take place in Barton Hall. The 2026 event has a Skunktimus Prime theme and features related T-shirts.
