Skeena River Relay
The Skeena River Relay is a 142.4 kilometre relay held along the Skeena River between Prince Rupert and Terrace, on Ts’msyen territory. The route follows Highway 16 and passes through rugged cliffs and coastal rainforest areas.
The event is organised as ten stages with specified start points and distances along Highway 16. Stage start locations include roadside pullouts, rest areas and community sites.

- Stage 2: Kloiya Bay pullout : 13K
- Stage 3: Rainbow Summit pullout : 21.1K
- Stage 4: Basalt Creek rest area : 10.2K
- Stage 5: Telegraph Creek rest area : 15.3K
- Stage 6: Snowbound Creek boat launch : 12.1K
- Stage 7: Highway pullout across from Kasiks Resort : 16.7K
- Stage 8: Clearing before Andesite Creek Bridge : 13K
- Stage 9: Wide highway pullout : 13K
- Stage 10: Pullout on right : 14.2K
Teams are typically ten runners with a minimum of five. Categories include Open, Mixed, Corporate, Women, Masters and Masters Women. Awards cover fastest times by stage and team placements by category, and there are individual and team prize classifications. The race rules address traffic safety, substitutions, visible bibs, prohibition of personal listening devices and wheeled devices, support vehicle limits, and penalties for rule violations.
