About the race
Skagen Marathon is a road running event in Skagen, Denmark, organized by Toppen af Danmark on 3 October 2026. The event offers multiple distances and uses chip timing for all races; timing chips are attached to the back of the race number. The start and finish area is located at Skagen Havn on the large parking area in front of Havnemesterboligen, Vestre Strandvej 10.

Aid stations are placed about every 5 kilometers (except the Grenen Trail where depot locations are shown on route maps) and provide water, energy drink and fruit, with toilets at each depot. There is a baggage drop at the start and finish area where each participant may leave one bag; additional items must be contained in one closable bag. Free showers and changing facilities are available at Skagen Kultur- og Fritidscenter, about 400 meters from the start and finish area.
Prizes are awarded to the three fastest women and men on each distance based on net times. The 5 km children’s race is divided into age groups 5-9 and 10-14; children may also register in the adult category (15+). Finishers receive a medal, drinks and fruit or snacks. Results and diplomas can be downloaded from the event website. Dogs are not allowed on the race distances.
