Event Overview
The SJB Run with Me 5K & 1 Mile Walk is the 12th annual event hosted by the St. John Bosco Parish community. The event takes place in Parma Heights, Ohio, and features two distances.
Events and Pricing
Two events are offered:
- 5K Race with a registration price of $25.
- 1 Mile Run/Walk with a registration price of $10.
The price for both events increases after April 22, 2026.
Course and Timing
The routes for the 5K and 1 Mile wind along Big Creek Parkway on a MetroParks path. The 5K race uses chip timing.
Awards
Awards for the 5K are presented to the top overall male and female runners, and to the top three finishers in each age group. The age groups are 13 & Under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & Over.
Additional Information
A t-shirt is guaranteed for those who register by Monday, May 12, 2026. Pre-race packet pickup is available on Friday, May 29, at the St. John Bosco Bell Tower, with race day pickup also available. A pasta dinner, catered by Bruno’s Ristorante, is held at St. John Bosco on the Friday before the race and includes gift baskets and a raffle.
