Six in the Stix Trail Run - Newport, NH
The Six in the Stix trail race takes place in the Newport town forest and uses classic New Hampshire trails. The event starts and finishes next to the football field at Newport High School, 250 North Main Street (NH Route 10), Newport, NH.

Once on the course participants run on rocky, rooty, and hilly singletrack typical of the area. Proceeds from the event benefit the Newport Recreation Department and town forest trails. Awards of Pure New Hampshire maple syrup are given to the top three in each category.
Age categories are defined separately for each distance: the 6-mile race has male and female categories for under 15, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+; the 3-mile race has male and female categories for under 15, 15-19, and 20+. Well behaved dogs are allowed at the event venue but are not permitted on the course during the race.
Pre-registration is accepted online through June 11, 2026. Fee levels differ by age and by whether registration is pre-event or race-day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
